Buried (2010)

A good performance by Ryan Reynolds but it's not enough to keep this film going.The box he is trapped in seems to change size on every scene.The pace picks up towards then end but you are left knowing nothing more than you knew before you watched it.2/5

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (1989)

The best of all the Indies, and Both Harrison Ford and Sean Connery are on top form. Action, adventure and comedy all combine to make for one of the greatest films of all time.5/5

127 Hours (2010)

Gripping and harrowing true survival story. Brilliant acting, superb directing.Well Paced.Awesome.4/5

Doesn't live up to the hype but the whole Facebook success story is so absorbing that it carries the film.3/5

Black Dynamite (2009)

Hilarious blacksploitation spoof of the 70s.  Over-the-top afros, kung fu and nunchucks yet somehow it still feels authentic.  Funny from start to finish. 4/5

Devil (2010)

Interesting idea that's well executed. Not great but not bad with some scary moments.3/5

Four Lions (2010)

Extremely funny, razor sharp dialogue.  Brave subject matter with scary undertones but absolutely brilliant. 4/5

Unstoppable (2010)

Boring action attempt to stop a runaway train.Predictable and annoying with too many wobbly tracking shots.Ridiculous.2/5

The Fighter (2010)

A modern day Rocky! Brilliant acting, esp Christian Bale. Great story but slightly too long. 4/5

Curious George (2006)

Fun animated family adventure based upon the children's books.Enjoyable but not great.3/5
