Masters of the Universe (1987)

As a kid I was one of the worlds biggest He-Man fans. I had all the figures, books and cartoons. Imagine my disappointment when this shite came out. Why not make it like the cartoon, Christ! He-Man doesn't even had any super strength in this, and the plot has nothing to do with He-Man. 1/5

Navy Seals (1990)

Imagine Top Gun starring Charlie Sheen instead of Tom Cruise, and replace planes with boats and add some Call of Duty.  Well this is what you would have.  It's very dated, it hints of Sadam and its soundtrack is terrible. Kyle Reese is in it though 2/5

Scream 4 (2011)

Enough is enough with this now. Been there done that with the mask and knife, this film offers nothing new and although tries to parody itself ends up missing the point. It gets an extra point for simply getting all the cast back 2/5

Suburban Commando (1991)

One of those films you would rent on VHS from the corner shop. As bad today as it was then, the acting is so bad it's laughable. But it did star Hulk Hogan and borrows props from Ghostbusters so I award it a 2/5

High Crimes (2002)

Poor man's Few Good Men starring the Kiss The Girls crew and Monte Cristo. Lame military court room story which pans out like an 80s drama complete with crap soundtrack. The twist ending is crap too. 2/5

Detroit Rock City (1999)

I forgot how cool this film is. Funny, well researched and well acted (Even John Connor acts well). Feel good road trip movie that doesn't rely on toilet humour.Quality 4/5

EuroTrip (2004)

One of the high school gross out comedies again, a la American Pie.  It's all about going to college, losing ones virginity, geeks, jocks and girls.  It's funny in places and follows every stereotype but why the heck not?  This stuff sells and it made me laugh and at times makes you wish you were American. 3/5

A Thousand Words (2012)

Very predictable and a bit "liar liar" but it's enjoyable.Eddie Murphy carries it well and the last 30 mins are obvious but very emotional and heartfelt.3/5

The New Guy (2002)

One of those over the top gross out high school comedies.Daft and stupid with all the cliches and a moral ending. I kinda liked it even though I know deep down it's pants.2/5

Under Siege (1992)

It might be an age thing or a sign of the times but growing up I loved this and I still do. Segals best film by far, it's awesome and has a big cake in it.4/5

Jeff, Who Lives At Home (2011)

One of those arty film award affairs but I loved it. Very real, funny and heartfelt. Part comedy, part emotional drama, and the soundtrack is great.4/5

Wanted (2008)

Stylish slick and sexy action thriller about assassins and bullet bending. It's funny, it's upbeat and it delivers. What's not to like?5/5

Piranha 3DD (2012)

The worst film I have ever seen! If I could give it less than 1 I would. It's beyond bad. 1/5

The Lost Boys (1987)

Chronicle (2012)

Interesting idea but let down by lack of a story, acting, soundtrack and void of everything in between. It's like a boring training montage from heroes filmed with the Blair Witch camera.1/5
