Moon (2009)

Paying homage to 2001 Space Odyssey and Solaris, slow moving but engaging enough if a little confusing. 3/5

Best of the Best(1989)

Karate Kid for grown ups. Typical late 80s action, all that's missing is Van Damme. 3/5

Stolen Lives (2009)

Upsetting and disturbing drama/thriller with good performances. Low budget and virtually unknown film but it's really quite good.3/5

Mad Max 3 Beyond the Thunderdome (1985)

Max turns cage fighter? Tina Turner? Midget pig farmers? WTF? The weakest instalment in the trilogy. 2/5

Green Zone (2010)

The Bourne team make a real life Call of Duty. Stylish but slow paced and no real surprises. 3/5

Employee of the month (2006)

Amusing slapstick romcom with some unique laughs. Goes on too long and eventually tires. 3/5

The spy next door (2010)

Decent family fun sees Jackie Chan doing what he does but Disney Stylee. 3/5
